1960 - 1969

In December, 1962 the organ was purchased for $1,500.00 and was paid for in about a month though the sale of certificates.

Groundbreaking ceremonies for a third time were held on Easter Sunday, April 18, 1965, for an educational building, the fulfillment of a dream. Total cost of this building was $52,300.00. A service of Consecration for the new educational building was held February 6, 1966 by Bishop H. Ellis Finger, Jr. and pastor James B. McDonald. There was quite a change in the make-up of the Sunday School which took place when the move was made into the new educational building. The Wesley and Asbury Classes were added and the Elementary Classes broken into grades.

Another addition of great importance was added in October, when the Fellowship Sunday School Class presented the new church steeple. Cost of the new steeple was $1,123.00

The present alter and church carpet were installed in 1968 at a cost of $2,000.00.
